About this guitar
The above guitar was constructed by the master luthier from Madrid Sr. Matias Pablo de la Cruz. He constructed only fifteen of these special design instruments between 1987 and 1992, near the end of his career.

This guitar was recently recovered in a storage area where it remained untouched for fifteen years. All other guitars are in the hands of players and collectors in Europe. The unique Arabian ¨Celosia¨design on the carved sound hole and the violin style apertures in the top are both visually and acoustically distinctive.

As the maestro is now retired this guitar named ¨Guitarrra Antigua¨ is a rare instrument to be in the collection of astute collectors and or concert artists.
